the ongoing crises communities are enduring,

and the solutions necessary to build trust

between our bodies

and the medical and research fields.

We believe our pathway to safer and healthier communities is through a deep investment in prioritizing our humility towards, attention to, and connections with those most impacted by systemic health inequities.

The impact of Covid-19 and the initial vaccine distribution exposed deep rooted systemic inequities within our healthcare system which Black, brown, indigenous and immigrant communities have endured for generations. Funded by The Rockefeller Foundation, the Equity First Vaccination Initiative convenes community experts, researchers and communications specialists to accelerate vaccination efforts, while addressing the many disparities which existed prior to the pandemic.
